- Marjorie Taylor Greene's attempt to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker was unsuccessful on Wednesday, as only ten House Republicans supported her motion to vacate. Greene's vote was prompted by Johnson's support for foreign aid to Ukraine and followed weeks of threats from the hardline Republican.
- The US has temporarily halted a shipment of 3,500 bombs to Israel for two weeks following its assault on Rafah, marking the first instance of the US withholding military aid to Israel in the Israel-Hamas War.
