- At least 7 people between the ages 12 and 17 were injured in a mass shooting outside an Indianapolis mall on Saturday, the 3rd mass shooting in Indianapolis in as many weeks. With no suspects in custody, a motive remains unclear, but police believe multiple firearms were used. All of the victims are in stable condition.
- After declaring March 31st the national “Transgender Day of Visibility,” President Biden took criticism from Donald Trump’s campaign and religious groups for the overlap with Easter this year, calling it a quote “assault on the Christian faith.” Concurrently, Trump posted a video on Friday featuring an image of Biden tied up in the back of a pickup truck, a move critics are calling quote “inflammatory” and “violent.”
- The US sent more than 2,300 bombs to Israel after assurances that the American weapons would be used within the laws of war. Calls for a ceasefire continue, however, as negotiation talks in Cairo between Hamas and Israel resumed on Sunday.
