- A sheriff's department in Florida released body cam footage on Thursday that recorded a deputy shoot and kill 23 year-old Black U.S Airman Roger Fortson as he opened the door of his apartment while holding a firearm pointed at the ground. The police were responding to a disturbance call when they knocked on Fortson’s door. Now, both his family and attorney are calling for a transparent investigation in what they believe to be an unjustifiable crime.
- Donald Trump’s hush money trial ended yesterday with Stormy Daniela’ final testimony in the case. Trump’s lawyers have repeatedly attacked her credibility due to accusations of her changing her story and have been denied a mistrial. Multiple witnesses have been called by the prosecution to further the attack of Trump, who the judge has found guilty on violating the gag order 10 times.
