In Must Know News:

  • The Supreme Court has once more upheld a block on President Biden’s SAVE student-loan relief program that would’ve extended payment periods and forgiven outstanding debts of $12,000 or less for millions of borrowers. So, what now, you might ask? Well, Biden’s SAVE plan is essentially trapped in appeals court limbo until the whole judicial process can run its course. Who will save SAVE from the clutches of the appeals court? Tune into next week’s thrilling conclusion to find out! Na, just kidding…
  • The IDF launched a large-scale operation into the occupied West Bank Wednesday, with Israeli forces conducting sweeping airstrikes and raids into the Palestinian enclave at a level so high that some local journalists are reporting that they haven’t seen anything of this magnitude in the region since the second Palestinian Intifada, or uprising, twenty years ago.
  • Nvidia’s in the news again after reporting high, high, earnings after the bell on Wednesday that have exceeded expectations on Wall Street. Ready for some numbers? 122% revenue growth since this time last year, with $32.5 billion in current-quarter-revenue versus the $31.7 billion analysts were expecting. Yep, the AI boom holds strong. Here comes the boom!
  • Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz dropped in on a highschool band practice in Georgia as the pair make their under-the-radar bus tour around the crucial swing state. The visit is part of a strategy by the Harris campaign to make moves in GOP strongholds by campaigning in more intimate settings, showcasing a softer side to voters.
  • and former Nevada politician Robert Telles was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a journalist who had written a series of negative stories about him. Telles was found guilty of first degree murder after the journalist, Jeff German, was found stabbed to death in his home. Previously, German had reported on allegations of bullying and favoritism within Telles’ office. Talk about an overreaction!
