- The U.S. Justice Department is close to settling with around 100 Larry Nassar abuse survivors for nearly $100 million, revealing FBI mishandling of allegations against Nassar prior to his 2016 arrest. Victims sought over $1 billion collectively, with previous settlements reached by Michigan State University and gymnastics organizations totaling hundreds of millions.
- Columbia University President Nemat "Minouche" Shafik denounced antisemitism in a congressional hearing, after facing criticism for how the university handled faculty remarks following a Hamas attack. Shafik was questioned by both congress members and students for the poor handling of faculty members accused of making antisemitic remarks.
- Performers and support staff at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in Southern California have filed a petition to unionize, citing safety concerns, irregular scheduling, and pay disparities. They aim for an election in May or June for union representation, seeking fairer treatment and better working conditions under the proposed "Magic United" union.
