- Former President Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 felonies for falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. The Manhattan jury decision makes Trump the first former president in U.S. history to be convicted of a crime. Trump vehemently denies the charges and plans to appeal, former DA Cy Vance praised the trial, saying it “defines the rule of law.”

Chad Daybell was found guilty this Thursday of first-degree murder in the deaths of his first wife and the children of his second wife. The jury reportedly deliberated for little more than two hours before handing down the final verdict. Daybell could face the death penalty.
