For those who read...

Pop star Justin Timberlake was arrested early yesterday morning in Long Island and is accused of driving while intoxicated. Timberlake was released and his next court date is scheduled for late July. Why was he in NY? Timberlake was scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden on June 25 and 26.

Timberlake was pulled over Tuesday in his brand new beemer BMW after officers saw him blow through a stop sign and weave in and out of lanes of traffic. This is not GTA, Justin. According to the arrest report, Timberlake had a “strong odor of alcohol” on his breath and his eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” when the officer pulled him over, which you should be able to see in the text message and on this episode.

Timberlake claimed all he had to drink that night was one martine, then proceeded to fail various field sobriety tests and was held overnight in jail before being transported to the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released around 9:30 am yesterday morning. He can sing but he sure can’t lie.

Timberlake refused to take a breathalyzer test on the scene three separate times, also refusing to initial a statement saying his refusal to submit the test could be used against him in court, both standard procedures during drunk driving arrests.

Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., told media outlets that he is committed to defending his client and is currently working with the district attorney’s office on the discovery process.

In Sag Harbor, a part of the Hamptons, Timberlake’s arrest is merely the latest in a long history of high-profile drunk driving incidents. Jason Kidd, Brian France, and Lizzie Grubman are just some of the Hollywood professionals who were previously arrested and charged with drunk driving in the area.

Timberlake is currently on his “Forget Tomorrow” tour, and he surely wasn’t thinking about tomorrow when he did this.

Thanks for tuning into today’s episode, you should probably send this to your friend so they don’t accidentally buy you tickets to Justin’s next show, it might be canceled. Have a great Juneteenth and see you next time!
